We are looking for a committed, flexible, and energetic person able to support our Art & Technology curriculum area. The role involves supporting teachers and students by providing effective and efficient technical assistance in the three areas of Art, Technology (3D-Design) and Food & Cookery. This is however a role that may evolve over time dependent on the Academy’s curriculum and teaching & learning priorities.

  Comprehensive training will be provided to the successful candidate to help develop the full range of skills to carry out this role effectively, although proficiency or prior knowledge in one of these areas would be an advantage.

• Artistic, Design Technology or Cookery expertise

• Good organisational skills

• Good communication skills

• Flexibility to be deployed in other areas of the Academy as required

• Understanding of ICT systems, including the effective use of the Office Suite of programs

• Ability to build good relationships with children and adults

• Calm and adaptable with an ability to thrive in a busy school environment
