Are you a passionate and committed RE teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity?

Oasis Academy Brightstowe is seeking an enthusiastic Religious Education Teacher to join our successful Humanities faculty on a maternity cover basis, starting September 2025.

The Role

We are looking for a reflective and dedicated classroom teacher to deliver high-quality RE lessons during the maternity leave of the current post-holder. You will:

Teach Religious Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Inspire students to engage with different worldviews, ethical discussions, and belief systems.

Contribute to curriculum development and shared planning within the Humanities team.

Be actively involved in the wider life of the school and support our inclusive, values-led ethos.

Please note: This is a maternity cover position and will continue until the substantive post-holder returns from leave. While the exact end date is not confirmed, it is expected to be within the 2025–26 academic year. Adequate notice will be provided.
