Are you an ambitious and passionate teacher looking for a new role within Art and Photography.

Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill is looking to recruit an inspiring teacher to join our well qualified, and talented Creative team.   

This is a fixed term post for one year maternity cover.  Ideal start date would be 1 November 2026 or January 2027.

Job/Person Summary

The successful candidate will be required to teach Art & Photography to all abilities across KS3 and KS4 to an excellent standard and be willing to enrich the curriculum with their own knowledge and experience.  There will also be a requirement to teach a Year 7 3D class.

This role offers excellent opportunities for the right candidate to develop their role working in collaboration with the other academies in Southampton. You must be able to use a range of teaching strategies to inspire and motivate our students and demonstrate a commitment to sharing best practice with colleagues in the department. We are looking for a passionate teacher who shares our desire for the highest academic standards for young people.

A willingness to support the Academy ethos and extra-curricular activities within the Academy is essential.
