The Academy is rich with history, built in 1904 and opened by Emmeline Pankhurst, it boasts cutting-edge equipment throughout. We aim to provide a safe, stimulating environment for the holistic development of our students, whilst maintaining excellent relationships with parents and the community. We are proud to have been recognised for our inclusive offer, achieving both our Mentally Healthy Schools award and our School of Sanctuary award.

As a member of our staff team you will be instrumental in promoting and supporting outstanding standards of education and helping create a safe, stimulating and purposeful environment where our children will love to be and will make excellent progress. We want our children to feel equipped and confident about the next stages of their education, and harbour fond memories of their experiences at our Academy.

Our vision is to remove any disadvantaged barriers and ensure our children are able to be the best version of themselves. We are seeking to appoint the right people to join us on this journey. We are proud of the work the Academy is recognised for across the city in leading the way with supporting pupils with a range of needs. The ideal candidate will be:

Our ideal candidate will be able to develop and maintain positive relationships, whilst embracing the challenge of working as a large team. At Oasis we aim to recruit individuals who display the competence and character to drive our schools towards success. We are looking for positive role models who can model and demonstrate effective behaviour management and build intentional relationships in-line with our inclusive vision. The role involves supporting a small group of children with complex needs, where you will work under direction of a class teacher in a SEND learning base..

Candidates must show commitment to the Oasis Ethos and be ambassadors for Inclusion, Equality, Healthy Relationships, Hope and Perseverance.

In return for your hard work and dedication we will offer you:

• A supportive environment where talents are valued and nurtured

• A dedicated and supportive team of staff

• A state of the art working environment supporting dynamic teaching and learning

• Amazing children who are eager to learn

• An opportunity to be part of a supportive trust

• Continued professional development and development opportunities within the trust

• Unique, amazing and confident children
