This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting them to access learning and flourish within their mainstream classroom environment.

About the role

You will provide tailored support that enables children to participate fully in school life while fostering independence and resilience.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a genuine passion for supporting children and young people.

Is patient, nurturing, and positive in their approach.

Can build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

Is committed to inclusive education and helping every child succeed.

Works effectively as part of a team while also using their own initiative.

Has experience of supporting children with SEND (desirable but not essential).

In return, we offer:

The opportunity to work within a welcoming and supportive school community.

A dedicated and experienced team committed to inclusion and excellence.

Ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

The chance to make a lasting impact on children's educational journeys.

A school that lives out the Oasis ethos of inclusion, hope, and community.

At Oasis Academy Long Cross, we are proud of our caring and inclusive environment where every child is valued, celebrated, and supported to achieve their very best. If you share our commitment to ensuring that all children can access a high-quality education, we would be delighted to receive your application.

Join us and help make a difference every day.

Candidates will be expected to have at least an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or be working towards this and experience of working with children in either a mainstream or special school provision.

The closing date is 12pm Friday 17th July , interview date Tuesday 21st July.
