We’re looking for a passionate, engaging and innovative Head of English to lead and take our team to the next level, an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher looking to make a difference to the lives of young people.

This is the perfect time to join our team – we are well on the way to becoming an outstanding faculty. You will have a passion for learning and teaching in English together with the skills to inspire and motivate our students. Our students really enjoy their English lessons, and they make excellent progress.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the delivering of high-quality English teaching to years 7 – 11, and 6th form

• Establishing a stimulating environment for all students, setting challenging targets that build on prior attainment

• Working with colleagues to develop the English offering in line with the vision and ethos of the Academy
