The roles

SPL

This is a unique chance to play a critical role in our student support structures. The Student Progress Leader is an integral part of providing 360 degrees of care, challenge and support for each individual student. As a leader of a designated year group, you will be determined that, through your leadership, all students in your care achieve their personal best.

This role is primarily concerned with ensuring that all students learn and achieve well across the curriculum. You will also set high expectations for your year group, holding all students to account for impeccable behaviour and high levels of attendance. You will promote high achievement, celebration culture, and working with your team of tutors and 2 non-teaching 360 Year Team Managers you will build and maintain strong relationships with students and their parents and carers.

Teacher of DT

We are looking for a creative and innovative Teacher of Design Technology to join our team. The team is part of a wider ‘Creative Arts and Industry’ faculty where you will be working with a passionate and skilled team of professionals.

Our strategically engineered curriculum is academically rigorous, diverse and promotes curiosity and independence. The quality of our curriculum has led to steadily improving outcomes over time, including achieving positive scores.

Staff are very well supported in the Academy with weekly meetings focused on teaching and learning which are both vibrant and stimulating. Through your line manager you will receive high quality individual support and challenge to ensure that your teaching career develops further, and you grow in your role.
