We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic (Year / Key Stage) Teacher who shares our commitment to Happily Achieving Primary Success. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners who believe in nurturing children’s confidence, curiosity and aspirations.

 

About the Role

As a Teacher at Oasis Academy Henderson Avenue, you will:

 

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate children and bring learning to life
  • Provide learning experiences that enable pupils of all abilities to achieve success across the curriculum
  • Assess, monitor and track pupil progress to inform next steps and secure strong outcomes
  • Help children develop confidence, independence and ownership of their learning
  • Create a safe, caring and well-organised learning environment where children feel supported to take risks and learn from mistakes
  • Promote positive behaviour, mutual respect and tolerance
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents/carers and the wider school community
  • Promote safeguarding and support pupils’ emotional, physical and social wellbeing
  • Engage fully in professional development and wider academy initiatives
