We are looking to appoint a
passionate and committed EYFS Teacher who understands that Early Years
education is the gateway to lifelong learning. This opportunity would suit both
Early Career Teachers and experienced practitioners who are inspired by the
chance to make a lasting impact on children’s first steps into learning.
The Role
As an EYFS Teacher at Oasis Academy
Henderson Avenue, you will play a vital role in building strong foundations for
learning through high‑quality practice. You will:
- Plan
and deliver stimulating learning opportunities in line with the EYFS
framework
- Create
a rich indoor and outdoor environment that encourages curiosity,
exploration and purposeful play
- Support
children’s communication, personal, social and emotional development
- Observe,
assess and record children’s progress effectively to inform next steps
- Establish
calm routines and consistent expectations that promote a sense of safety
and belonging
- Foster
independence, confidence and positive attitudes to learning
- Work
closely with teaching assistants to ensure high‑quality provision for all
children
- Build
strong partnerships with parents and carers to support learning beyond the
classroom
- Uphold
safeguarding responsibilities and promote children’s wellbeing at all
times
- Engage
positively in professional development and contribute to the wider life of
the academy

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Builds
trusting, positive relationships with children and families
