We are seeking a dedicated and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our thriving secondary academy. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a supportive and ambitious team, providing high-quality support to students and helping to create an inclusive learning environment where every child can flourish.
The Role
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups.
- Work with individual students and small groups to help them access the curriculum.
- Assist in the planning and delivery of learning activities under the direction of teaching staff.
- Support students with additional learning, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
- Promote students' independence, confidence and engagement in learning.
- Contribute to maintaining a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the assessment and monitoring of student progress.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Has experience of working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is patient, adaptable and committed to supporting students to achieve success.
- Has strong organisational skills and can work effectively as part of a team.
- Demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Holds GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
