Salary SCP04 - 08 £25, 878 – £26,824 Full Time Equivalent,
Fixed term for 1 year
22 hours per week (M-Th 11am - 3.30pm and F 11.30am - 3pm), Term time only including INSET Days

Oasis Academy Long Cross is seeking a caring, committed, and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our dedicated team for 22 hours per week. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), supporting them to access learning and flourish within their mainstream classroom environment.
About the role
Working closely with teachers, SEND professionals, and other support staff, you will play a key role in helping pupils develop their speech, language and communication, engage successfully with their learning, develop confidence, and achieve their individual goals. You will provide tailored support that enables children to participate fully in school life while fostering independence and resilience.

Candidates will be expected to have at least an NVQ2 or equivalent qualification or be working towards this and experience of working with children in either a mainstream or special school provision.
