About the Role
You’ll work closely with teachers to support individuals and small groups, particularly students with SEND needs or those for whom English is an additional language. Your role will be vital in creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.
What You’ll Do
Adapt learning activities and resources to meet diverse needs.
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers and students.
Support social and emotional wellbeing, encouraging independence and confidence.
Collaborate with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes.
Be an active part of our school community—whether it’s educational visits, classroom displays, or extracurricular activities.
What We’re Looking For
Essential: NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience supporting children with SEND or EAL.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Resilience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for education and community.
