Oasis Community Learning is seeking a highly experienced Head of Academy Finance to lead financial management across our network of academies. In this vital role, you will support the Financial Controller in managing the finances of multiple academies, ensuring sound financial practices, compliance, and strategic planning. You will build strong relationships with regional finance teams, lead budgeting processes, oversee financial reporting, and support academies facing financial challenges; combining strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to ensure our academies thrive financially and align with our core values.
The location of this position will be determined based on the selected candidate's geographical location and will be assigned to the nearest academy to the appointed individual.

What we're looking for:
A strategic finance leader with senior experience, preferably in education or the public sector. You'll possess strong financial management, analytical, and staff leadership skills. Essentials include:
- Professionally qualified accountant with senior-level finance experience (education/public sector preferred).
- Proven ability in financial management, analysis, and staff leadership.
- Expertise in academy trust financial regulations and education funding mechanisms (e.g., GAG pooling).
- Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.
- Exceptional communication, resilience, and relationship-building skills.
