What you will be responsible for:
Whilst this role works directly with our Principal and Senior Leadership Team, the successful candidate will join our highly effective and experienced support team. You will establish and maintain a professional, prompt and reliable HR service to all staff across Oasis Academy John Williams.
A full job description is attached but in summary this role offers the opportunity to develop your experience and knowledge of HR activities including but not limited to:
- Recruitment, from inception through to onboarding and payroll administration
- Absence and performance management
- Employee relations and data returns
- Issuing contracts and ensuring all vetting checks are completed
What you will bring:
- A friendly, articulate and customer focused approach to work
- Experience of supporting the delivery of effective HR systems in an education or public sector setting
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
You will be fully supported by our Regional PD Manager and a National team of dedicated HR professionals.

Hours & Salary:
- Part Time 22.2 hours per week, Term Time Only (39 weeks) plus 3 weeks
- SCP 18-22 £31,537 - £33,699 full time equivalent, (pro rata'd salary to be confirmed)
- There is a genuine opportunity for a flexible working pattern which can be mutually agreed between the successful candidate and line management
