What you’ll do:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver learning to individuals, small groups, or whole classes.
- Support teachers in creating engaging lessons and raising achievement.
- Step in to lead lessons during teacher absence.
- Contribute to assessments, feedback, and tracking student progress.
- Develop a specialist area (e.g., literacy, numeracy, SEND, ICT).
- Provide pastoral support to reduce barriers to learning and promote wellbeing.
- Guide and support other classroom staff where required.
What we’re looking for:
- Qualifications: GCSEs in English & Maths (A*–C / 9–4 or equivalent) plus relevant TA/HLTA qualifications.
- Experience: Strong classroom experience, including leading groups or classes.
- Skills: Communication, organisation, and IT proficiency.
- Qualities: Calm, resilient, reliable, and committed to safeguarding and inclusion.
