Working across 3 high performing Oasis Academies:

  • Oasis Academy Byron, CR5 2XE
  • Oasis Academy Ryelands, SE25 4XG
  • Oasis Academy Shirley Park Primary, CR0 7AR

Are you a passionate and flexible educator looking to make a meaningful impact across multiple school communities?

We’re looking for a committed Primary Teacher to join our Oasis family and provide high-quality teaching across three of our Croydon primary academies: Oasis Academy Ryelands, Byron, and Shirley Park Primary.

We’re trialling a new approach to give our fantastic teachers dedicated CPD time during the school week. This role is the first of its type in the region, but you’ll be stepping into an established routine; working with familiar classes and collaborating with experienced teams to ensure continuity and care for our pupils.

You'll be responsible for

  • Delivering engaging, well-structured lessons in line with existing planning
  • Supporting pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
  • Maintaining consistency and continuity in the absence of the regular class teacher
  • Collaborating with staff across three academies to uphold best practice
  • Adapting confidently to different classroom environments and age group

A full job description is attached to this vacancy.

You'll bring

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven classroom experience
  • A calm, professional approach to regular cover teaching
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • A flexible mindset and a genuine enthusiasm for working across diverse school settings

Our offer to you

  • A warm, inclusive culture across all three academies
  • Supportive leadership and collaborative staff teams
  • Opportunities for professional development within Oasis Community Learning Trust
  • A chance to contribute meaningfully to pupils’ learning and wellbeing
  • Access to wellbeing resources and staff benefits
